Key Responsibilities: Managing the Stu Brew contact emails and advertising brew days or events to members and subscribers, as well as running the weekly committee meetings and liaising between the different roles to ensure smooth operations. 

Most Rewarding Aspect of being on the Stu Brew Committee: Being part of a small business and getting to see and be involved in all processes, from pouring grain in the mash tun to doing a cask delivery to pulling a pint at Stu Brew event.  

Why did you get involved with Stu Brew? I bought a homebrew kit one summer and loved it. Over the years I’ve slowly upgraded my homebrewing equipment, designing my own recipes and have also spent a short time at a local brewery in South Shields. Brewing is what I want to go into after university and Stu Brew seemed like an amazing opportunity to gain more experience, not just as a brewery but also as a business.
