Most Rewarding Aspect of being on the Stu Brew Committee

Stu Brew is primarily a social enterprise before a business, so seeing our beer alongside established brands around Newcastle is extremely rewarding. Knowing that in creating our product we have often given people their first experience of brewing whilst having fun. Being responsible for the continuation of our unique project is extremely satisfying, although challenging it makes our University unique and that is something that is important to me. 

Why did you get involved with Stu Brew? 

After my placement year I knew I would have more free time, so I decided to dedicate that time to the project. As a Chemical Engineer with industrial experience I knew I could contribute to the team from a technical and business perspective. This year I hope to prepare Stu Brew for future growth following Covid-19.
